The color of this oil is dark orange so I am always careful not to get it on my clothes, and try to apply it at night, unless I forget, then I put it on in the morning or during the day. I don't mind a little smell, because #1. I have used other oils in the past for their beneficial properties which had a much stronger smell, #2. I used other brands of Rosehip oil and they weren't as fresh and the smell was stronger and now that I've tried this one, I can tell that this oil is very fresh, but the other ones weren't. Rosehip oil has a lot of vit A and Omega's so it gets rancid overtime just like fish and olive oils. I love this brand of Rosehip oil and am going to switch to using only this one. I have used Rosehip Oil
