This is an excellent knife sharpener. Every little detail about it is perfect. From the ergonomic handle that fits perfectly in your hand, to non-slip base, to clearly labeled slots for "coarse" and "fine" sharpening. All one need to remember - most of the time all you need is a few pulls through the "fine" setting. Only super dull knives need to be run through the "coarse" one, and only a couple of times. This is the most convenient, easy to use knife sharpener I've ever owned! My husband, who has an electric professional sharpener, tested this one and gave it 5 stars. Excellent value!
